Eingebettet in das terrassierte Tafelland von Yu Zhong, ist das Highland Sports Center als Leistungs- und Trainingszentrum für Bahn- und Feldsportarten, sowie Fußball konzipiert. Das innovative Gebäudekonzept fügt sich perfekt in die terrassierte Landschaft ein und beeinhaltet alle notwendigen Funktionsbereiche wie Sporthallen, Schwimmbad, Sportler-, Gäste- und Personalunterkünfte, sowie Verwaltung und medizinische Einrichtungen in einer komplexen Baustruktur. Weitgehende ökologische Konzepte runden den Entwurf ab.

Located in the tablelands of Yu Zhong, Highland Sports Centre is planned as a training centre for track and field athletics and football. The highly innovative building is designed to fit into the terraced landscape and brings together all ne- cessary functions such as indoor sports halls, an indoor swimming pool, boarding houses for athletes, guests and staff, administration and medical facilities in one sophisticated structure. Extensive ecological concepts round off the design.
